Greetings fellow speeders,
After the market team picks, a few friendlies between chosen teams, we hope you have found the best players your market can offer!
We are glad to announce the launch of the main event Tribal Wars World Speed Championship 2012.
On March 12, 2012 we will commence with the group phase rounds. With 33 teams in the pot, from the random draw and with your little help (polls with animals) we drew the following groups:
In the group stage, teams compete within eight groups of four teams each. Each group plays a round-robin tournament, in which each team is scheduled to play three matches against other teams in the same group. The top two teams from each group advance to the knockout stage. Points are used to rank the teams within a group, and we have main and second points
main points:
- 3 points for win
- 0 points for loss
second points:
- 5 points for greatest ODA in group matches
- 3 points for greatest ODD in group matches
- 1 point for greatest tribe points in group matches
The ranking of each team in each group is determined as follows:
- greatest number of main points in group matches
- greatest number of second points in head-to-head match among those teams
There is week pause after group phase in which we will have closed TvTvT rounds only for teams qualified to next stage of tournament, no rest for them if they want to be masters. Also, we wont forget teams that are not qualified, there will be some TvTvT rounds for them so don't worry you will have your time.

Knockout Stage ( 9 april - 27 april)
The knockout stage is a single-elimination tournament in which teams play each other in one-off matches. It begins with the round of 16 (or the second round) in which the winner of each group plays against the runner-up of another group. This is followed by the quarter-finals, the semi-finals, the third-place match (contested by the losing semi-finalists), and the final. (detailed schedule of knockout stage with times will be announced when we get group winners)
note: If team Japan withdraw from tournament, those round will be simple ignored/not played and tournament will continue with normal schedule with no changes or win points for Japan opponents.
Rules / Teams
Each team consists of maximum 50 players (20 playing + 30 subs)
Each match will be played on TW-Masters (speed servers)
We are playing according to the rules of TW-Masters (rules)
It is not allowed to co-play on Speed Championship.
It is not allowed to be more than 20 players on each match per team.
Any breach of the rules, may result in disqualification.

Prizes
- trophy TWRaven (gold, silver, bronze) - engraved glass trophy with TW logo, tribe name, player names, for 1st 2nd and 3rd place for team captains or CM (pictures will come very soon, trophy in post-production)
- table flags, with tribe coat of arms, tribe name, players names of winning team for each player
